4th Progress Meeting held in Turin

April 07, 2015

The capital of the Piedmont region in Northern Italy is not only famous for the Shroud of Turin or its football club, but also for its numerous museums. Two of these museums, the Human Anatomy Museum of the University of Turin and Cesare Lombroso’s Museum of Criminal Anthropology, are located in the same building, which belongs to the University of Turin, whose department of Neuroscience is partner in the CHIC project.

It was in this historic site that the CHIC partners met for their 4th progress meeting. During the general assembly meeting in the old anatomy lecture hall and over coffee in the old dissecting hall, the current status of the CHIC project was presented, ideas and future work within the project were discussed. As the CHIC project will have its regular annual review in July 2015, demonstrations of various CHIC tools and services were also planned during the Turin meeting.

The CHIC partners from the University of Turin had also organized a clinical database workshop, which took place the day after the CHIC meeting and which was attended by the clinical partners in CHIC.
