First postgraduate course on "In Silico Medicine"

December 05, 2014

The new postgraduate course entitled “Multiscale Cancer Modelling and In Silico Medicine” is at the same time the first postgraduate subject dedicated to in silico medicine. The course is taught by the CHIC coordinator Research Professor Georgios Stamatakos in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering  (SECE) of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA).

The CHIC project partners are pleased to announce that the course, which began in October 2014, progresses very well.  Enthusiastic feedback has been provided by both postgraduate students attending the course and Professor Elias Glytsis, Director of the SECE-NTUA Postgraduate Studies Programme. This is good news for CHIC, other related EC funded projects and the VPH community as well since the course constitutes inter alia a form of academic exploitation of the outcome of those projects and initiatives.
